Tenuta Sant'Antonio Amarone della Valpolicella is produced in the Veneto region of Italy using the traditional Amarone method. Grapes such as Corvina, Rondinella, and Croatina are harvested and then dried on straw mats for several months to concentrate their sugars and flavors. After the drying process, the grapes are fermented slowly at low temperatures. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three years, developing its rich, intense flavors of dried fruit, spice, and chocolate.
