Production Process
Tedeschi Valpolicella Ripasso Capitel San Rocco is produced in the Valpolicella region of Italy. The wine is made from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. After the initial fermentation, the wine undergoes a second fermentation on the skins of dried Amarone grapes, a process known as "Ripasso." This enhances the wine's body, complexity, and richness. The wine is then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 12 to 18 months, adding depth and subtle oak flavors.
