Chateau Les Forts de Latour is the second wine of Chateau Latour, a prestigious estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged in French oak barrels, with a significant portion being new oak, for 18-20 months. This aging process enhances the wine's complexity and depth, resulting in a refined and elegant profile.
